Virginia Beach, Virgina | 4-6 February 2011

Early last month I had the pleasure of visiting one of my best friends, Ketan, in Virginia Beach. He was finishing one of his last internship orientations before graduating this May from optometry school. I love our friendship. We can go months without seeing one another but still feel completely at ease when we're together. (:

On an overcast and rainy Saturday we visited the Virginia Beach Aquarium. We agree that cuddle fish are the cutest things ever. On Sunday we went on a what was supposed to be 2.5mi trek through First Landing State Park. Somehow we got turned around over and over again...for HOURS....and it ended up being a 7-8mi hike. Holy moly, not expecting that, especially after only having a granola bar for breakfast. Hope you all are doing well!
