Hey everyone! I know, I know, it's been forever, but this last month has been busy. I went on that very fun roadtrip that I posted about last, and then David & I headed to Seattle for some Washington flavor. It was the best vacation I've ever had and am already planning on going back there in 2011 with Ashley.
School started this Monday (and I only got back last Wednesday!), so I've been trying to get back into that groove. Our class size dramatically decreased due to the overload of students switching to the East Campus. Though I miss Heather, Susan, and Laura a lot (and won't see them much this semester), I really enjoy the smaller size of class. Also, our professor is absolutely amazing, and probably the best I have had in a really really long time.
For those who haven't heard yet (though I'm sure most of you have!), David and I are engaged!! This happened a little over two weeks ago, and it was completely in-the-moment. I will go into more detail about the proposal later (it is sickeningly sweet), but not until I have more photos to upload because it really helps with the story. I took over 1000 photos while in Washington/Oregon/British Columbia, so it's been an overwhelming task to go through them and choose which ones you guys should see without going overboard and boring you guys (but it's so difficult as the Pacific NW is just absolutely gorgeous!). Anyway, he swept me off my feet (quite literally!) and each day I look more and more forward to marrying the man of my dreams. We've started to get into the depths of wedding planning and tonight he drove to Greensboro where we found this perfect place. I don't want to disclose too much as we haven't signed a contract yet, but he and I both are extremely pleased with the place/price/owner&mgr. David is going out of town for work for a month so during that time I'll be looking more into vendors and cost. We're hoping for a $6-8k wedding, but we'll see!
Okay, well I just wanted to give you all the quick update. I hope your summers were wonderful and everyone is excited for the upcoming changing seasons. More pictures soon!
